SPONSOR INFORMATION
A sponsor will journey with you throughout the RCIA year and is asked to continue their support the following year. Sponsors are typically members of Our Lady of Peace Parish but could be someone with whom you wish to share your journey. Before RCIA begins, all sponsors will be asked to attend an orientation session to review their role in your journey and to confirm their commitment to you. It is recommended that spouses and close family members are not asked to be your sponsor, but are certainly welcome to attend the RCIA sessions with you. Every effort will be made to find a compatible sponsor. Have you asked someone to be your sponsor?

Each time we gather we share and discuss different aspects of the Catholic faith including how these teachings apply to our day to day lives.
While it is understandable that there will be times when you are not able to attend, it is our hope and prayer that you will be able to attend every session.
On very rare occasions we may need to meet on a different day or time. If that happens, you will be given as much advance notice as possible.
The Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist will be celebrated at the Easter Vigil. More information will follow throughout the year on this celebration.
